To promote the commercialization and industrialization of ocean remote sensing products, the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED/SIO) of the Second Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources, collaborates with numerous enterprises and institutions. The SatCO2 platform provides real-time updated customized remote sensing product services to support enterprise management and facilitate scientific and rational decision-making.
Current collaborative units include: China Life Insurance Marine Big Data Center, Smart Ocean Big Data, Zhangzidao Group Co., Ltd., and Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Guangzhou). The SatCO2 platform also supports projects such as ecological monitoring and early warning in Laizhou Bay, water quality monitoring in Zhejiang Province, and thematic datasets in Southeast Asia.
