The Satellite CO2 Ocean Monitoring and Analysis Platform (hereafter referred to as "SatCO2 platform") is an online analysis platform for ocean remote sensing, originally designed to monitor and analyze marine carbon cycling through satellite data. It is distributed free of charge and is based on remote sensing data, featuring three-dimensional sphere visualization, multi-source data processing, and application analysis. The platform aims to facilitate the sharing of ocean satellite remote sensing data and its interdisciplinary applications.
Developed jointly by the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED/SIO) of the Second Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources, and the Key Laboratory of Zhejiang Province for Resource and Environmental Information System (GISLAB/ZJU) at Zhejiang University, the SatCO2 platform is supported by the Remote Sensing Data Sharing Center of SOED/SIO, providing long time-series and massive multi-source remote sensing data services online. Users can conveniently access shared remote sensing and in-situ data through the SatCO2 platform for three-dimensional sphere visualization analysis. Additionally, users can integrate local multi-source remote sensing and in-situ data for comprehensive analysis.
The functionalities of the SatCO2 platform include:
