Sea Ice Concentrations (SIC): Sea ice concentration represents the coverage area of sea ice. This dataset aims to provide a continuous time series product of SIC, calculated using brightness temperature data from NASA GSFC's SMMR and brightness temperature data from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) processed SSM/I and SSMIS.
