Description

With the implementation of the 2018-2020 Clean Air Action Plan, air pollution emissions in central and eastern China have decreased significantly. Combining satellite remote sensing data, meteorological reanalysis data, and ground observation data, we built a machine learning (ML) model to predict the daily average PM2.5 concentration in eastern China during 2018-2022.

The remote sensing dataset of daily PM2.5 in China can provide remote sensing products of daily mean PM2.5 concentration in eastern China. The time span of this product is 2018-2022, the spatial resolution is 1°×1°, and the time resolution is the daily average. This product can provide data support for Chinese atmospheric environmental quality assessment.
