Liu Dong: Male, born in 1987, from Ji'an, Jiangxi. He received a bachelor's degree in geographic information systems from Southwest University in 2010, a master's degree in cartography and geographic information systems from Nanjing University in 2013, and a doctorate in cartography and geographic information systems from Zhejiang University in 2017. In the same year, he joined the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has successively served as assistant researcher and associate researcher. Currently, he mainly focuses on research on the carbon cycle of inland water bodies (lakes & rivers), three-dimensional remote sensing of spatiotemporal evolution of water environment, and future scenario simulation under global change. He serves as a youth editorial board member of the Journal of Earth Environment and a reviewer for more than ten domestic and foreign journals.

In view of the long-term shortage of organic carbon observation data in China's inland water bodies, we combined multi-source remote sensing observations and model estimation to reveal the clearing pattern of China's lakes in the past 20 years under the background of the construction of a beautiful China, and estimated the organic carbon of China's rivers entering the sea in the past 60 years. Transport evolution characteristics, and constructed a multi-index remote sensing monitoring method for inland water carbon cycle and water environment. The research results were reprinted and reported by more than 100 media including Renming Daily, Xinhua News Agency and China Government Network, and were selected as Earth Big Data to support sustainable development. Goal report. Currently hosting/responsible for more than ten projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology; published 26 papers as the first author or correspondence (including 7 TOP SCI papers in the first area of the Chinese Academy of Sciences such as Remote Sensing of Environment and Water Research) ), authorized (accepted) 3 national invention patents (4 items), registered 13 software copyrights, and participated in the preparation of 2 monographs; in the past three years, he has won the "Third-Level Talents of Jiangsu Province 333 Project" and "Youth Innovation Promotion of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" "Member of the Society", "First Prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award", "State Key Laboratory of Satellite Marine Environmental Dynamics - Young Visiting Starfish Scholar", "Advanced Individual of the Year (2 times) of Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences" and " Dihu Institute's annual outstanding scientific and technological achievements first prize" and other honors.
