Recently, the "Ocean Remote Sensing Online Analysis" jointly developed by the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environmental Dynamics of the Second Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources (referred to as "SOED National Key Laboratory") and the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Resources and Environmental Information Systems of Zhejiang University Platform SatCO2" (referred to as "SatCO2 Platform") was exhibited at the 4th Xiamen Marine Environment Open Conference, kicking off the first tour after the release of the platform. It attracted the attention of nearly a hundred domestic and foreign experts and scholars.

At the exhibition, Wang Difeng and Sun Nan from SOED's National Security Office, and Dr. Ye Weiwen and Chen Yijun from Zhejiang University's R&D team introduced the main features and functions of the platform to the participants, conducted a video broadcast of the platform's operation, and distributed corresponding Chinese and English Software operation manual, participants also conducted hands-on operations on site.

The SatCO2 platform has attracted many foreign scholars to watch. For example, scholars from Italy consulted on the use of remote sensing data in the Mediterranean, and discussed the water color differences between the north and south coasts of Crete in the Mediterranean and the chlorophyll distribution in the Aegean Sea; foreign students from Zhejiang University conducted on-site operations on the use of the SatCO2 platform in the Indian Ocean and Africa. Experts and scholars who are not majoring in remote sensing are very interested in SatCO2's ability to quickly find and analyze data. They inquired in detail about the type of SatCO2 data set and its online display and analysis functions. They said that SatCO2 will provide a lot for their future research using massive remote sensing data. help. Some satellite data manufacturers, after paying attention to the various ocean remote sensing products provided by the platform, intend to establish a cooperative relationship with the professional team of the Second Institute of Oceanology to jointly provide personalized ocean satellite raw data services.

The SatCO2 platform, formerly known as the "Ocean Carbon Cycle Remote Sensing Monitoring and Analysis System", is a three-dimensional sphere visualization platform distributed free to the public and based on remote sensing data, which can realize online acquisition, processing and visual analysis of multi-source data. The participation of the Second Institute of Oceanology at this exhibition aims to promote the SatCO2 software to become a convenient tool for marine science and technology workers, practitioners in related application fields, college students and the public to understand and study the ocean, conduct rapid ocean data query and analysis, and hope to attract more Domestic and foreign collaborators have joined to launch new signature models, datasets and application modules to jointly promote the widespread application of remote sensing data.

It is reported that the 4th Xiamen Marine Environment Open Conference was held at Siming Campus of Xiamen University from January 6th to 9th, attracting more than 800 domestic and foreign experts, scholars and exhibitors from the fields of marine ecological environment, biochemistry and other fields.

In the next step, in order to better serve the majority of scientific researchers using the SatCO2 platform, the SOED National Research Center will hold training courses at the 4th International Ocean Water Color Science Conference and the 4th International Symposium of the Global Ocean Acidification Observation Network in April. All scholars and graduate students are welcome to participate. For details, please check the website http://yg.hzccx.com.
