Satellite Ground Station
The National Marine Satellite Hangzhou Ground Station: It is one of the four major ground stations for marine satellite operational applications in China. Founded in 1988, after 30 years of construction, it has undergone three generations of antenna upgrades, becoming a marine satellite ground station that is the earliest with the longest running time and the largest number of receiving satellites (accumulating 28 satellites).

As an experimental station for research and development of new marine satellite data receiving and processing technology in China, a station for the application of satellite remote sensing products and a demonstration station for international cooperation, Hangzhou Ground Station has provided data sharing services for many research institutes and business centers across the country. It also provides technical support for the construction of marine satellite ground station and application systems, plays an important role in marine research, marine resources development, disaster monitoring, environmental investigation, and marine protection.
